Selected by Bridgewater State University as their on-call architect, H&A performed a variety of services at Hunt Hall, which at the time was housing general classrooms and office space.

The new directive and program for Hunt Hall specified the complete design and detail for a new 3,200 sq. ft. adjacent addition. 2D classroom and 3D metal, wood and sculpture areas are housed in the new addition. The project also included renovating 12,000 sq. ft. of existing space into art-focused classrooms, a photography lab, studio and darkroom facility, and student commons. The existing administrive office was reconfigured to better suit the needs of staff.

The addition included a complete building envelope with all new systems and a curtain wall design with a low slope roof. The mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work was extensive and included a new dust collection and ventilation system (with re-circulating capability) for the 3D shop, welding, sanding and paint areas. New HVAC systems included high efficiency condensing boilers, Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems and low-velocity air distribution systems.
