Expansion Continues at
Habeeb & Associates Architects
Steven Habeeb, president of Habeeb & Associates Architects, a Norwell, MA based architectural firm, announced two additions to his staff. On January 2, 2007, Melanie Brothers, AIA and Nancy Gill joined the growing Habeeb & Associates team.
Registered Architect, Melanie Brothers, brings 20 years of award winning experience in educational, institutional, commercial, transportation, and residential architecture to Habeeb & Associates. Melanie's most recent position included 10 years as staff architect, designer, and project manager at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she worked on many campus projects. "Melanie's professional experience is a great asset to Habeeb & Associates," stated Steve. "The projects she managed at MIT varied greatly- laboratories, musical/acoustical, aeronautics, medical, libraries, lobbies, classrooms, theaters, office spaces, etc... She is not only a wealth of knowledge in all areas of an educational campus facility, but her individual project experience can be channeled outside the educational arena to include commercial, institutional, recreational, hospitality and residential markets," continued Steve.
Melanie is recipient of the First Place New England Real Estate Award for her design of the Rosalind Denny Lewis Music Library at MIT, and her work has been published in four journals including the 2004 Magazine of the American Library Association. Melanie has also studied under the direction of renowned architect Rob Krier in Austria.
Office Administrator, Nancy Gill,
has also joined Habeeb & Associates
team. Nancy has managed the offices
of architectural and engineering firms
for 15 years and now brings her
expertise to Habeeb & Associates.
Habeeb & Associates expansion
continues with the relocation of
Marketing Manager, Tamara Macuch, to the Chicago area. Tamara will continue to provide marketing services to Habeeb & Associates, while expanding the firm in Chicago's suburban markets.
Further growth continues internally with Drafter/Designer, Michelle Moran's receipt of her Construction Documents Technologist Certification from the Construction Specification Institute, and Job Captain, Gregory Triplett, will graduate this year from the Boston Architectural College with a degree in architecture.
